SCOTTY WENNERSTROM
Scotty Wennerstrom was ready and rejuvenated after his weekend prior and was ready to test out his wrist on a tricky Nashville track. The weather cooperated as the day began but the track proved difficult early. Scotty did his best to navigate the smooth lines but the Tennessee chop was hard to avoid. He pushed through the pain and ended up with the 7th fastest time in his section. When the final session began he gave it all he had to nail down a faster time but would end up in a similar spot. His day would end early just a few spots out of qualifying position and he would go back on the mend and heal up for Philly.
JOSH GRECO
Josh Greco was more than ready to put it all together when his day began in Nashville. With his recent success, his confidence was high and with tricky conditions laid out before him, he knew he would shine. Due to the rain on Friday. The first practice sessions were cancelled, and Josh knew he was going to give it all when the remaining sessions began. He came out firing when he was finally able to hit the track and immediately found his flow. The technical conditions made it hard to put in one whole clean lap but nevertheless, he finished up 4th fastest in his division. In the second one, it was a similar story although he did best his time from the first. Unfortunately, he could not put all his best sections together to get into the next second bracket and was forced to pack up. On to Philly!
